Jeffrey S. Bornstein
Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, GE
Jeffrey S. Bornstein is currently a Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for GE Company.
Prior to his current role Bornstein served as Chief Financial Officer of GE Capital and Senior Vice President of GE Company.
Bornstein joined GE in 1989 with the GE Power Systems’ Financial Management Program.
In 1992, he joined the GE Corporate Audit Staff and then became Executive Audit Manager. In 1996, he was named Chief Financial Officer for GE Aircraft Engine Services and Vice President in 1998. In 1999, he was promoted to Chief Financial Officer of GE Plastics and served as their CFO until 2002.
He is on the board of Northeastern University and buildOn. He has also been involved in a number of youth programs.
He received his B.S. in Business Administration from Northeastern University.
Michael J. Pilot '84
Recently Retired Chief Commercial Officer, GE Capital
Mike recently retired as a senior executive at GE after 31 years with the company where he had been an officer since 2002.
From 2011 until his retirement, he was the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of GE Capital, where he worked to reposition the GE Capital brand, expand the global sales force and accelerate growth.
Prior to joining GE Capital, Mike was the president of Sales and Marketing for NBC Universal (wholly owned by GE at the time), a position he assumed in December 2006.
Prior to NBC, Mike was president and CEO of GE’s Commercial Equipment Finance Group, an industry leading firm with $35B in earning assets.
Mike held other positions in the GE organization including VP of Sales for GE Industrial Systems, VP of global sales for GE Information Services and president of GE Capital Small Business Finance Corporation. He began his career at GE Capital in 1984 as a marketing support specialist.
Mike received a BS in Business Administration from UNH in 1984. He currently serves on the university’s foundation board and the dean’s advisory council at the Paul College.
