    If you’ve ever wanted to see what’s happening today at UNH in the labs and classrooms, this is your chance!  From Fairchild Dairy to the new Paul College, tour facilities and visit with faculty members.  Each college is opening their doors as part of UNH Reunion Weekend and all alumni, friends, and community members are welcome!

    Open House Events 
    Shuttle service provided to all open house locations. Pick up at EAC. You will also be able to pick up the shuttle from open house events to get to other locations. 

    1 - 2:30pm  Tours of the InterOperability Lab – InterOperability Lab, 121 Technology Drive, Suite 2 Durham, NH.
    The UNH-IOL is the only full-scale, non-profit test lab in the world that balances industry expertise with the real-world training of future engineers. More than 100 graduate and undergraduate student employees work with full-time UNH-IOL staff, gaining hands-on experience with developing technologies and products.

    1:30 - 3:30pm  School of Marine Science and Ocean Engineering – Jere A. Chase Ocean Engineering Building.
    The Jere A. Chase Ocean Engineering building has unique facilities, such as the 20-foot deep engineering tank and 120-foot long wave tank. Cutting-edge research installations include a telepresence console that connects researchers with scientists at sea and the Visualization Lab's panoramic display. Most importantly, CCOM/JHC staff are recognized as leaders in their fields and are happy to talk about their research, which spans such topics as the behavior of whales underwater, 3D visualization, ship tracking, and mapping the ocean floor.

    2 - 3pm  College of Liberal Arts Event: Faculty Lecture with Jack Mayer – MUB Theater 1.
    Psychology professor Jack Mayer is an innovator in intelligence research. In Mayer’s new book, Personal Intelligence: The Power of Personality and How It Shapes Our Lives, the reader begins a journey with Mayer to uncover the history of personality research and proceeds to the shaping of a framework for a new theory of learning—personal intelligence.

    2 - 4pm  College of Life Sciences and Agriculture: Tours of Fairchild Dairy and High Tunnel – Fairchild Dairy.
    Join us for a tour of the College’s new high tunnel greenhouses, constructed on the land adjacent to the Fairchild Dairy, and designed to extend the growing season. Learn about how students are using the high tunnels for experiential learning, the collaboration with UNH Dining, and the broader plans for a multi-trophic research and teaching farm.

    2 - 4pm  College of Life Sciences and Agriculture: Tours of the Hubbard Center for Genome Studies – Gregg Hall. 
    The Hubbard Center for Genome Studies was established in June 2001 to lead the development of genomics research at UNH. The Center has established itself as a leader in comparative and environmental genomics, with a special emphasis on novel model species. Join us for a tour of the lab, meet with researchers, and learn how genome studies is helping to answer questions about emerging diseases, consequences of environmental change, conservation of threatened species, cleanup of oil spills, and agricultural practices.

    2:30 - 4:30pm  College of Health and Human Services Open House – Hewitt Hall & NH Hall. 
    Tour our newly upgraded and innovative lab facilities to include: nursing simulationKertzer Exercise Science, Biomechanics, and Northeast Passage, a nationally recognized leader in the provision of innovative therapeutic recreation services. Information sessions and Q & A will be conducted by our faculty, staff and students.

    2:30 - 4:30pm  College of Engineering and Physical Sciences Open House – Kingsbury Hall. 
    With the recent renovation in Kingsbury, much has changed since you were a student. Tour the building including the labs and hear from students about their research projects. Learn about the new plans for the renovation of Kingsbury’s courtyard.

    3:30 - 5pm  Paul College of Business and Economics Open House – Paul College. 
    Paul College will showcase how its new state-of-the-art building helps to make learning hands on and real world. There will be presentations in three unique classrooms: the video enabled teaching kitchen, a problem-based learning classroom, and our executive education suite.

    5 - 7pm  Open House Reception – Paul College.
