Online and Honoring

Katherine J. Morneau (JD '05)

Wednesday, January 19, 2022

5:30 to 7:00 PM

Please join us as we present the annual Bruce E. Friedman Pro Bono Award to Katherine J. Morneau (JD ‘05). This virtual event is open to the public but registration is required.

The award honors a University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law graduate and member of the New Hampshire bar who exemplifies Bruce Friedman’s commitment to representing the indigent through exemplary pro bono service. Professor Friedman was the founder of the law school's civil practice clinic.

Catherine E. Shanelaris, Esq. (JD ’92) will present this year’s award to Attorney Morneau. The event also features a virtual segment – Pro Bono Service in NH – a View from the Bench, in which current judges from all levels of the judiciary will be available to discuss how attorneys can be more involved in pro bono service in New Hampshire.

The Bruce Friedman Pro Bono Award Ceremony is sponsored by the Warren B. Rudman Center for Justice, Leadership & Public Service and the 603 Legal Aid Pro Bono Program.
